American Licorice required a voice communications solution to cover all the manufacturing facility, from production through to shipping logistics. They required high quality speech and the ability to make available telephone connection to and from the radio units. American Licorice had already investigated several systems, including Nextel and concluded that the only option was to install their own private system to ensure availability and fixed costs. |
NIC Technologies Solution..
The system comprised of a repeater base unit located in the main
office, servicing twelve portable radios. A telephone interface was installed
into
the Repeater System allowing them to use the radios for outside telephone
communication. The system now allowed for the Plant superintendent and
office personnel to have instant communication with all supervisors. |
